HAIR REMOVAL DISCOUNT CONSUMER STUDY FOR ALL SKIN TYPES
WITH THE CYNOSURE APOGEE ELITE LASER
Derma Hair Care LLC is conducting a consumer clinical study at a
discounted (50%) rate to determine the permanency for the removal of unwanted hair in patients of skin type 1-6 with brown or black hair using
Cynosure Apogee Elite Laser. Enrollment for the study consists of 2 healthy Groups (without hormonal imbalance) with 40 subjects in each group.
The treatment areas in men will consist of: shoulders/back of neck/& back. The treatment areas in women will consist of: underarms & bikini line. Each subject is required to complete 6 sessions, one session a month for 6 months on the entire treatment area. Subjects will be photographed on 1st & 6th session and will fill out a questionnaire on the 3rd session. The purpose of this study is to determine which subgroups will have faster results after the 6th treatment. Fluence, pulse width, spot size & hertz used are determined by Cynosure Apogee Elite Laser guidelines for each skin type to ensure safety and accuracy.
