Washington’s Premier Organic Medi-spa Toasts Green Festival with Organic Happy Hour
(Falls Church, VA, September 2007) — Washington’s premier organic medi spa, Derma Hair Care LLC, is offering an “Organic Happy Hour,” co-hosted by Hoang’s Grill and Sushi Bar in Falls Church, Virginia on Thursday, September 27th. Founder of Derma Hair Care LLC, Honi Borden, has relentlessly taken steps to provide medical aesthetic treatments while being as eco-friendly as possible and hopes to raise the profile of her own and other local green businesses through this exciting evening. The event will also help consumers experience organic drinks and provide a space for likeminded people to network.
“My mission is to provide beauty without sacrificing health and being a part of the solution to balance sustainability” says Honi. Derma Hair Care LLC was the first medi spa to receive the seal of approval by Co-op America as a green company and will be the only medi spa (of 400 exhibitors) featured in the upcoming DC Greenfestival (October 6-7). This is something that Honi and friends can celebrate.
Hoang’s Happy Hour menu will include organic drinks such as the “Greentea-ini” (Square One Organic Vodka infused with Gypsy green tea, $8), the “Ginger Pear Martini” (Square One Organic Vodka infused with fresh ginger and pear, $8), the “Apple Cooler” (Square One Organic Vodka, granny smith apple and apple juice, $8) and the “Mojito” (organic rum, mint leaves, fresh lime & raw brown sugar over ice, $9). These drinks are made from all organic ingredients starting from the Vodka & rum to the fruit, mint, ginger, tea and agave syrup (organic “sugar” water). Owner of Square One Organic Vodka (www.squareonevodka.com), Allison Evanow, thanked Honi for bringing more awareness to her product.
Happy hour patrons can also feel good about the fact that their after-work libations will be helping others in need. Hoang’s will donate 10% of the evening’s profits to Honi’s charity of choice, the Earth Conservation Corp (www.ecc1.org). This local non-profit organization’s mission is to “empower our endangered youth to reclaim the Anacostia River, their communities, and their lives.” (Incidentally, Honi’s merchant services at Derma Hair Care LLC donates 25% of its gross revenue profits to this organization).
